Turkey can award scholarships to seven Bangladeshi students once a year in Postgraduate academic degree Studies (PhD) programme on textile engineering education, per a UGC unharness.
In this regards, a memo of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the University Grants Commission (UGC) of People's Republic of Bangladesh and therefore the Council of upper Education (CoHE), Turkey here nowadays.
UGC Chairman academic Abdul Mannan and CoHE president academic Dr M A Yekta Sarac signed the MoU on behalf of their various organisations.
The main objective of the MoU is to exchange educational and scientific programmes of the upper education establishments between People's Republic of Bangladesh and Turkey.
"The MoU would play a important role in quality development of upper education of the country," same UGC Chairman.
"Side by facet, it (the MoU) would additionally facilitate to strengthen the relation between the 2 friendly countries," he said, adding that the mutual cooperation is incredibly abundant necessary for developing the standard of upper education in People's Republic of Bangladesh below the age of economic process.
Terming the MoU as a giant step for group action of upper education, CoHE president same the MoU between People's Republic of Bangladesh and Turkey would introduce a 'new-horizon' for quality development of the upper education.
